  10. We have a non DEC tape and driveron our unibus vax.

  12. It has previously worked (VMS 4.x)but has fallen into disuse. We wish to reuse
  13. it now on V5.4 but we are having troubles writing.

  15. Whne QIOW - IO$_CREATE is called the tape reads forward until it falls off the
  16. supply reel. Presumably it is searching for the end of the last file??.
