  12.     Hello again, everyone!

  14.     Back before the "flicker fight" started, I had posted an article,
  15. mentioning that I was working on a port of Kerberos to VMS.  At that time,
  16. I had received a few responses from folks who thought it sounded interesting 
  17. and/or who had volunteered to do part of the work.

  19.     I'm still very much excited about the idea of making "Kerby/VMS" a
  20. "community project" that everyone is welcome to participate in. Therefore,
  21. lest *THAT* particular thread die, I am reposting it again here. For
  22. everyone who is still interested in working on the "Kerberos for VMS"
  23. project, please post or e-mail me.  Especially, if you wouldn't mind doing 
  24. some of the work and/or have an old MicroVAX that you can temporarily 
  25. "donate" to the project, that we can run the software on as things develope.
  26.  
  27.     So that we can rise above the flamer(s) on the net, we'll also
  28. explore the option of either creating a MODERATED newsgroup to cut out the
  29. trash, and/or have a private mailing-list to the discussions. This is too
  30. good of a chance for us to use the Internet for what it's best at doing,
  31. namely bringing lots of technically skilled and talented people together,
  32. for the common cause of creating something that will bless alot of users out
  33. there, to let it be killed by a few power-hungry megalomaniacs.

  35.     I am awaiting your replies, and eager to hop into "turbocharge
  36. mode." (:-).
