  12. Thanks, Frank and all of the others who have responded to my
  13. type safe linking question.  The /NAMES=UPPER switch works fine
  14. with GCC 1.40 as obtained from prep.ai.mit.edu.  The manual
  15. we are using with it came off the Sun User Group CDROM.  The
  16. GNU things on the SUG CDROM don't always include the VMSisms and
  17. associated manuals.  After all, they don't do much good on a
  18. Sun-4 running SunOS.
