  10. Can anyone tell me what sort of COPY, BACKUP etc. type command I need
  11. to use under VMS to read magnetic tapes of unknown format. Under Unix
  12. I would use "dd" on the raw tape device. I don't need to have any
  13. interpretation of the data performed ie. I just want to end up with a
  14. big file (or files) containing the contents of the tape.
