  19. PS and KILL have equivalent commands in the public domain.  Download
  20. PROCS and KILLEM from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.

  22. As for job control, I think it would take a fundamental change to
  23. change the process-type of a program (from windowed or full-screen to
  24. detached.)  Suspending and resuming a task shouldn't be too hard,
  25. though.

  27. As for displaying a "done" message, where should it go?  A detached
  28. process does not have a window, or a screen group, and the system
  29. forgets the window that it was launched from, so what is going to
  30. display this message?
