- Symantec has announced and is taking orders for its 32-bit OS/2 2.0 C++
- compiler. It is supposed to connect to WF/2 and my understanding is that
- it requires the IBM Toolkit. I have ordered one as an upgrade from the
- older DOS-Windows-OS/2 1.3 version. I haven't seen it yet, so can't
- recommend it, but I am hopeful. I have the IBM C Set/2, a solid product
- with exceptional support (at least so far!). If you want a comparison
- before buying, I am afraid you may have to wait a bit.
-
- Information is available by calling Symantec. I don't have the number
- handy, but their customer service is at 800-441-7234. There is a limited
- time, intro offer that requires a form that they will fax you.
-
- I like C++, also, but the classes to make the user interface easy appear
- to be a large job.
-
- I am not connected with Symantec (except as a customer)
