  24. Actually, it's gcc 2.3.1 :-).

  26. It would take next to no time to compile the new version, but I have
  27. plans to do a more comprehensive job this time to eliminate some of
  28. the problems I've observed in the earlier versions.

  30. Unless people have a crying need for it I will hold off for a while.
  31. This is a good idea anyway, I'd like to see what comes up in the
  32. gnu.*.bug groups first.

  34. I am also without a machine at the moment. I lost my system partition
  35. for the third time in a month. It seems OS/2 doesn't get on well with
  36. these new caching IDE controllers.
