  13. I have an answer from IBM on this, but I would like a little re-affirmation
  14. from anyone in the know, since I'm not sure I believe them:

  16. In order to run DDCS/2 (Distributed Database Connection Services) as a client,
  17. is it necessary to have the Database Server installed, or would the 
  18. Database Manager alone suffice?  All I am interested in doing is using 
  19. DDCS to access data on a remote database.
