- Unfortunately, if IBM believed everyone who said that they sent they
- sent in the form on time ("I SWEAR"), then they might as well not have
- deadlines at all, right? I waited to call for my upgrade form because
- I knew I was moving soon and didn't want to have to mess with address
- changes after my order had already started processing. Your brother on
- the other hand let one deadlin go right by (implying that he didn't
- really want the upgrade anyway) and then waited until the very end of
- the second deadline... Technically, IBM is in the wrong, they made a
- mistake. Come on though, is there anyone here who doesn't know by now
- what communication inside IBM is like? It is like trying to tell every
- single member of a city something without missing anyoe. Can't be
- done...
