- In reading all the postings to this and the other OS/2 news groups, I have to
- say, yes, OS/2 does work with local bus video, although I don't have such
- a beast myself. Yes, OS/2 now has a 32-bit graphics engine. NO, this does
- not mean that you get to manipulate 32-bit graphics images (WOW, think of the
- number of colors, OOPS, how does 32 get divided by 3 (R-G-B) evenly). 32 bits
- in this case means code not data. Accurate color rendition is dependent on
- the video board and its driver. 24-bit color seems to be the popular
- choice for accurate color.
