  28.     Well, this is one of the earliest messages I've managed to post
  29. with a suite of news transfer programs I've been writing.  I'm using
  30. GNU emacs and the GNUS news reading software under OS/2 2.0.  I'm
  31. downloading batches of articles from a normal Unix account, and
  32. uploading replies.  It's working today, but wasn't yesterday; I
  33. wouldn't say it's ready for publication just yet...

  35.     300+ messages every 12 hours sounds about right for me, actually.
  36. I don't actually read all of them, I skim the headers and read what
  37. looks interesting.
