- Well, this is one of the earliest messages I've managed to post
- with a suite of news transfer programs I've been writing. I'm using
- GNU emacs and the GNUS news reading software under OS/2 2.0. I'm
- downloading batches of articles from a normal Unix account, and
- uploading replies. It's working today, but wasn't yesterday; I
- wouldn't say it's ready for publication just yet...

- 300+ messages every 12 hours sounds about right for me, actually.
- I don't actually read all of them, I skim the headers and read what
- looks interesting.
