  12. I downloaded them and tried them. The appear to be totally non-functional on my
  13. machine: Gateway EISA 486DX2/66 with 8MB memory, Speedstar 24X video and
  14. Ultrastore 24F SCSI adapter with a (?)Western Digial hard drive.

  16. The system crashed with a register dump during bootup, pointing the finger at
  17. the device driver as the culprit.

  19. Any other experiences out there? Any word on newer releases? The one I tried
  20. from Hobbes was dated 9/15 or so.
