- At work we have an OS/2 network using Lan Server. I recently installed
- the CSD thinking that our network would become MORE stable. Rather, I
- had 2-3 crashes a day of our domain controller plus numerous crashes
- on the other machines. WordPerfect 5.1 seemed to generate the most problems
- where before the CSD it rarely caused any faults at all. Finally, I had
- to reformat all of the system partitions on all of the machines and
- re-install OS/2 GA along with all of the patches that floated across the
- net. I was eager to use the CSD, but it was WAY too unstable. Strange,
- though, but my home machine with the CSD installed gives no problems
- what-so-ever, but maybe I haven't found them yet?
-
- Good luck on solving your problems - I'd rather stay with the monster
- I know than a new unstable one. (At least my 800x600 Trident drivers work
- with the old one.)
