  13. Hi, I've managed to solve the unstarted WinOS2. It turns out that I've deleted
  14. *one* driver that is written in the system.ini (fax.drv=faxit.drv, i've
  15. installed it though it never worked). With an ';' I get it work again!

  17. The moral of this story:

  19. **CHECK** whether all the drivers in the system.ini [boot] are on 
  20. the /os2/mdos/winos2 directory!

  24. From one of the e-mails I received said that I have to reinstall WinOS2 which
  25. I did. Now I see that the old drivers are copied back again in my /os2/mdos
  26. directory (d.d. 30-3-1992), and I realize that my WPS runs slower than after
  27. I installed the Service Pack. 
  28.  
  29. My question is: is it possible to reinstall service pack only for /os2/mdos and 
  30. /os2/mdos/winos2 directories? I check with syslevel and it reports that
  31. I already have 32-bit GRE and all the fixes for the OS.
