- Hello everyone,
-
-
- After installing the service pack and (with help from the net) getting the
- xxx506.add driver replaced. My system is up and running again - thank you all!
-
- My only problem now is when my system boots I get an error from my CONFIG.SYS
- file. I believe the number is 1201. The error is with
- DEVICE=G:\OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS line. I have checked for bad extraneous characters
- in the file - none. I have tried to move the line around in the file - no luck.
- I have checked the location in the directory of the file - it's there. My system
- is a 386DX/40 with 8MB ram, 120 IDE, 140 ESDI, ATI VGA Wonder+ with 1MB, I run
- OS/2 in 640x480 mode (standard - no drivers). Am I doing something wrong?
- Should I have used the command 'svga ON'? Should I even have the line in my
- CONFIG.SYS file? If this is a FAQ please don't flame me too much - I'm new to
- OS/2.
-
- Thanks in advance to all,
-
