- I used to have the deldir set for a while, but eventually
- got rid off of it since it is to slow. Now I realise it
- takes an extra effort to record te deletion in the deldir
- but it appears to me as if the system copies the deleted
- files to the deldir instead of just moving it.
- With those EA's not available in do, I can see this as
- the only solution, but not under OS/2. Why not just add
- a deleted attribute. Then it only takes the changing of
- an attribute to mark the file, hence it would be just as
- quickly as really deleting it. Am I overlooking something
- obvious here, or would this in fact be a good thing?
-
- Anyone?
