- Hello,
- Thanks to all who replied to my earlier post - I could not get
- my TSENG Card to work non-interlaced until I had this idea. I had
- all the switches set correctly tried SVGA OFF then dmode 38 70 -
- and then svga on, it still remained interlaced.
-
- First - get a disk make a subdirectory OS/2 on it.
-
- Copy SVGA.EXE and DMODE.COM to that dir on the flopply.
-
- Boot up DOS, CD to you OS/2 dir on your floppy
-
- Run SVGA OFF
-
- Then DMODE 38 70
-
- Then SVGA ON
-
- SVGA seems to work only in a subdirectory called OS/2.
-
- Now, start OS/2 via flopply - (MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR SVGADATA.PMI,
- JUST IN CASE). Copy you new configuation files from your floppy to your
- hard drive (in the OS/2 Dir). Now restart your system as normal.
-
- Guess what - I finally had 1024 x 768 working at 70 Hz. Looks
- great. This worked on my system - so do not blame me if it messes up
- your system. I just thought I would share an idea that worked.
-
