- Yesterday, I tried installing WINOS231 over 2.0 GA and the Service Pack.
- It replaced some important system files (including OS2KRNL and
- \OS2\DLL\PMWIN.DLL). When I rebooted OS/2 I couldn't open the
- icon view of any folder. (not by double clicking, not via the
- keyboard, and not by choosing OPEN->Icon view).
- Details view and tree view worked fine!
-
- I re-ran the Service Pack, but only selected the root directory
- and the DLL directory.
-
- OS/2 is fine now, and WINOS2 3.1 seems to work. I haven't had time
- to really look at it yet, but I could open Write, and I could
- type things using a TrueType font.
