- I recently started using the rexec command. If I say "start pmx" and
- "rexec -l login -p password host path/xterm -sb -sl 250 -ls
- -display localhost -j", then deskpic does not work properly.
-
- If I move the mouse to the "save now corner", then most of the time
- nothing happens. But when I move the mouse again, the screen "jumps"
- and I see the deskpic screen saving image for a moment. It seems to
- me that deskpic thinks that it has been saving the screen, but that
- somehow rexec still controls the screen.
-
- But sometimes the screen goes completely blank a few seconds after I
- leave the mouse in the "save now corner". I guess this is OK
- as a screensaver, but I prefer the deskpic images.
-
- If I connect using vt100 and then say "xterm -display localhost"
- from Unix, wverything is OK.
-
- Please respond by e-mail, and I will post a summary.
