  13. I wanted to use the hand-scanner Scanman 256 from Logitech,
  14. which is sold with Windows software. After installing it various
  15. tests suggested that the DMA induced errors. Phoning up the
  16. technical support of Logitech in Germany this morning, I had to
  17. learn that the product doesn't work under os2, that Logitech
  18. has no intention to support it, because it has a market share
  19. of only 1.5% (they claim). The support man spread rumours, that
  20. the version 2.01 has a driver for scanman. Logitech wants to 
  21. support only windows nt in the future.

  23. My question: Is there a cure? Not for the company, but for my
  24. problem not being able to use scanman?
