- I wante
- I wanted to use the hand-scanner Scanman 256 from Logitech,
- which is sold with Windows software. After installing it various
- tests suggested that the DMA induced errors. Phoning up the
- technical support of Logitech in Germany this morning, I had to
- learn that the product doesn't work under os2, that Logitech
- has no intention to support it, because it has a market share
- of only 1.5% (they claim). The support man spread rumours, that
- the version 2.01 has a driver for scanman. Logitech wants to
- support only windows nt in the future.
-
- My question: Is there a cure? Not for the company, but for my
- problem not being able to use scanman?
