  14. I am having a strange problem with TE/2 and its dialing directory.  If
  15. I dial using it, I can't connect to the system I call into after a
  16. connection has been negotiated.  So I get CONNECT 57600 and then
  17. nothing I do has any effect, until OS/2 shuts TE/2 down announcing
  18. that something is wrong with COM2.  Mind you, I have no problems if I
  19. just dial ATDT #######, only when using the dir.  I have checked
  20. settings, everything seems the same between the entry in the dir and
  21. my normal setup.  Note that when the com port goes, its gone until I
  22. do a cold boot.  Obviously, it is no great hardship to type out the
  23. phone number I want to call, but I am curious what the problem is.

  25. Information:  OS/2+CSD (didn't see the problem before upgrading, but
  26. there were a lot of other changes at the same time, including site
  27. change, modem change, mb change, and I usually type out the no.
  28. anyway), Zoom V.32bis modem (new, with new ROMs).
