  26. DCF/2 from Proportional Software is out and shipping...  $150
  27. officially.  It's supposedly pretty cool (I spent a little time
  28. talking to one of the developers on their 1-800 number :) with some PM
  29. interface and allowances for designing your own encoding/compression
  30. scheme... there's an interface.  Sort of like installable file
  31. systems, but I thjink they're saying it's easier to write for.  That's
  32. why they're so late, because IBM "requested" (his word) that they get
  33. a prettier interface on it...

  35. 1-800-666-4OS2.  These guys are floundering in their newfound mass
  36. market, so give them time, but real people sometimes answer their
  37. phone, so I like them... :)
