- Clarification - DLC and Token Ring are not related. You need DLC only
- if you have an application the requires it. The transport does not matter
- (DLC runs just fine over Ethernet or 802.3).

- However, DLC is found mainly in IBM environments which are heavily biased
- towards Token Ring, which is why DLC and Token Ring are often found together.
