  12. I've got an annoying problem with my 486DX machine at work. I'll use the
  13. MEWIN (microEmacs for windows) to write my C code and a DOS box to
  14. compile, link and test it. I use the ALT+TAB key to switch between the
  15. DOS box and MEWIN.

  17. The problem is that sometime the DOS box hang when doing a command.
  18. It is not possible to reproduce the hang. In other words - the hang
  19. occure at random times and at random commands. This is very annoying.

  21. The funny thing is that I got an 386DX at home with exactly the same
  22. configuration, and I'm doing exact the same thing, but there I don't get
  23. any hang at all (even if I switch between MEWIN and the DOS box from
  24. morning to evening).

  26. Have anyone else had the same problem? Is there any fix to this?

  30.     16 Mbyte memory
  31.     Windows 3.1
  32.     DOS 5.00
