- hi, i'm wondering if there are any windows drivers
- out there that will run a d/a converter connected
- to the parallel port. i had this thing built to
- work with modplay, and i was hoping that windows
- would also support it (for digitized sounds and
- such). but i have not run into anything or anyone
- that even mentions the use of a d/a converter under
- windows. imho, this converter plays digitized
- stuff (through modplay) very well; as well as the
- thunder board or sound blaster. if there is not
- a driver available, is there someone i could talk
- into developing one for me? i'm sure there are
- many others out there who would like a project
- driver for one of these converters...
-
- btw, this d/a converter cost me $20 for high-
- quality sound, compared to >$100 for a sb... :)
- i would love to have this working under windows.
-
- much thanks in advance. if enough interest is
- developed, i will post pertinent info back onto
- this board -- oh, i meant to mention: please
- respond by e-mail...
-
- thank you again!
