- Hi, I was wondering if NT (for you beta testers and Microsoft employees
- out there) had a native mode (32/64 bit depending on platform) command
- line interface or shell (NOT just a DOS emulator). If it doesn't, is
- there one planned? If not planned, why not? If it does have one, can you
- use interchangable "shells" like unix (ie: a choice between "sh" and
- "csh"), and does it have an extensive shell "script" language (no .BAT
- here!). Also, I was wondering on the NT filesystem, does NT have case
- sensitive filenames/commands (ie: unix type filenames, not DOS all
- upper/lowercase filenames), and what about file extensions... are they the
- same (ie: .EXE, .BAT, etc...) or are they obsolete now (ie: unix like, a
- executable bit is set). Also, assuming that since NT is running on
- R4000's, NT is geared for 64 bit mode,, yes? Thanks for listening...
