- Could someone shed some light on problems I'm having with pasting
- graphics from the clipboard into applications. When I copy graphs
- from DeltaGraph and from QuattroPro for Windows into the clipboard
- and then look at them with the clipboard viewer or paste them into
- Write or WordPerfect for Windows, they are always imperfectly reproduced.
- At the least, some text is missing or improperly placed. At the worst,
- portions of the graph are rendered in reverse video or blacked out.
-
- Changing the video mode and/or driver has some effect, but I have
- yet to come up with a combo that works. I would hope, however, that
- all this copying and pasting can work in 1024x768x256 colors
- if things are set right. The trouble is, I can't figure out who
- owns the problem, i.e., how does the clipboard interact with the
- server and client applications. How significant is the role of the
- video board and driver.
-
- I am running Windows 3.1 w/DOS 5.0 on an AST Premium II 486/33
- with a NEC 5FG and Diamond Stealth video card. I have 10M of RAM.
-
- Thanks in advance for any help or information.
