  14. The mac version of word saves its pictures in rtf files using the PICT
  15. format. The windows version saves its pictures in rtf files using the
  16. TIFF format. So, while text will go actoss fine, grahpics will not.
  17. The way to transfer both text and graphics from Mac word to W4W is to
  18. use MacWord 5.0 to save the file as a w4w file. MacWord 5.0 will read
  19. W4W files in native format.

  21. Note that this translation is also not 100% fool proof. I have had a
  22. case where the graphic did not transfer...
