- I have an extremely ancient '386 DX 16 MHZ machine. At the moment it has a slow
- 44 meg groupe bull MFM hardisk. The problem is that it starting to get a bit
- cramped running various win itens of software. I would like to Upgrade to IDE
- running a 200 meg HD but the problem is that the BIOS of the computer does not
- support this type of drive. Could anybody give me some some more information on
- solving this problem, ie whether they know this computer supports IDE or
- whether one could get a drive card that has a cludge to get the drive talking
-
- thank you in adavnce for any information
-
- PS the computer is a Tautung TCS 8000 and the BIOS date is in 198ii
