- Dear Personal Computer User,
-
- I am conducting a market research study on a possible new software distribution
- system. We hope to be marketing all of the major software packages with
- this system. The software will be automatically installed and
- configured for your system. This system involves purchasing software
- electronically with the packages delivered over standard phone lines.
- Additionally, manuals may be provided in a electronic media or made
- available via US Mail and a toll-free telephone software support service
- will also be available with purchase. We are also considering making
- available software packages on a rental basis. This study is done in
- conjuction with a class at Carnegie Mellon University and if the results
- are favorable may result in a new venture.
-
- I would appreciate a couple of minutes of your time to answer the
- following questions. Your responses may be emailed to
- dw3e+@andrew.cmu.edu. Thank you for your assistance.
