- Many point and shoot menu programs allow you to rename files that may
- have gotten unusual characters in the file name. Norton utilities or
- xtpro are the ones I use and either one would allow you to rename
- that file.

- BTW it is possible that there is an unseen or unusual character in the
- file name. A common trick is to add a space in the middle or at the end of
- a files name. Since dos will ignore a standard space (20H) these spaces
- are created by using an <alt>number key sequence. It looks like a normal space
- but the file cannot be copied/renamed/deleted using a space created with the
- space bar.

- If you can get a hex dump of the directory entry you will be able to determine
- exactly which characters must be entered to manage your file.
