- I'm thinking of getting some type of notebook computer.
- Ideally I'd like a SPARCbook but that's too expensive.
- Does anyone have any experience of using Linux/X11/XView
- on a 486 based notebook in running Sun applications?
- If so what would be a reasonable type of minimum configuration
- to run a few XView based tasks (e.g. textedit, olwm, a few cmdtool's)?
- Would a Gateway 2000 Nomad 425DXL be a good machine for this
- type of use?
- Any other words of advice?
-
- Thanks in advance.
