- A previous poster said his Stealth and MAG monitor were working, but i have
- the same config and there are still some rough edges.
-
- First, the server just hung if the Speedo directory was included in my
- FONTPATH, and i had to reboot the machine. Leaving in only 75dpi and misc
- worked OK (well, sort of, read on).
-
- Second, the only mode i can get working is 640x480, and when i do this
- the fonts are completely messed up. Instead of displaying characters it
- just shows solid blocks of either white or black where the characters should
- be. (i.e. all pixels in a character box of 9x16 are either on or off) The
- pattern of on/off depends on the character though, so it looks like some
- bit in the ascii is selecting the block colour.
-
- I have seen it hinted at that the Stealth has a programmable dotclock.
- I am going to run clock.exe tonight, but is there any info on this
- type of dotclock and how one goes about programming it? (I caught just
- the tail end of some flak on Diamond making this knowledge proprietary, but
- is there any general info on how these dotclocks work?)
