- I was banging up into this 'cannot find font fixed' as well until
- i re-ran mkfontdir in all of the font directories. The font.dir files
- *were* there after i installed SLS, but somehow they were wrong.

- Also, at least on the S3 server, if the FONTPATH in Xconfig has directories
- that the server does not like (in my case it was Speedo) the server would
- just hang, so pare it down to just misc/ and 75dpi/ to test.
