  15.     I was compiling a program and received an error message:

  17.     /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.2.2d/cpp: y.tab.c: No such file or ...
  18.     make: *** [OBJ]/y.tab.o] Error 1
  19.  
  20.     Of course there is no such subdirectory "../gcc-lib/i386....".  We
  21.     might be able to find that in old gcc compiler.  But what happened
  22.     to cpp?  I could not find it!  We don't need it any more?
