- : Yah, except that uuchk and uustat do their thing and then give a seg fault.
- : Everything else seems to work. Yes, I had to modify the source code...
- : I'd have to make diffs to tell you exactly what changed.
-
- : Nice part is that uucico, uucp, cu, and others run w/o the debugging flags
- : that had to be enabled in the widely distributed 1.03 sources for linux.
- : I have been using it now for four weeks maybe, getting a newsfeed, accepting
- : anonymous UUCP, email, etc. with no functional problems.
-
- : I'd be glad to upload source and/or diffs somewhere, but have no immediate
- : intention of fixing the seg faults 'cause I don't use those functions anyway.
-
- I've compiled and run taylor-uucp gamma with two (minor) patches - if you
- intend on getting the gamma release from convex.com, email me and I'll
- send you the patches. If enough people request the patches, I'll post
- them.
-
- I'm waiting on Ian to make the final 1.04 release, then I'll upload it
- to tsx-11.
-
- BTW, if you really want to stay on top of taylor-uucp, instead of cluttering
- up c.o.l. with questions about unreleased software (inquiries about
- taylor-uucp 1.04 *really* don't belong here, IMHO), why don't you subscribe to
- the mailing list? Patches and stuff come out a *lot* faster there...
