- I have been running FWEB versions 1.22 and 1.23a (compiled with GCC versions
- 2.2.2d and ss-921016 respectively) under kernel version 0.98.1. When I run
- fweave on a web file, I get the error
-
- Writing INDEX.tex...IOT trap/Abort (core dumped)
-
- Since I have been unable to find code within FWEB for this, I am assuming
- that this is a GCC or kernel error. Would someone please enlighten me as to
- what it means.
-
- Now, for the $64 question. Why is it that I don't get this error all of the
- time. Sometimes, everything will work fine and the index will be produced.
- Then, either on the very same file -- slightly modified in a trivial way --
- the error will return. Any suggestions are welcome.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Bill
