  13. I recently got XFree 1.1 and installed it, but have a few questions on
  14. "fine tuning" it. After the installation, I noticed that it placed all
  15. it's man pages in /usr/X386/man, etc. I assume normal "man" wouldn't be
  16. able to find it. So, I ran X and tried "xman". In the directory, all the
  17. xcommands were there, but the minute I clicked on a (actually *ANY*) X
  18. related command, it reformats the page and displays NOTHING!! It appears
  19. that "xman" can't find the /usr/X386/man directory. Anyone has any
  20. suggestions??

  22. Another minor problem...I run X in colour. How do I change the
  23. background or "desktop" (as MS-Win would put it) to a colour of my
  24. choice. At the moment, it's sorta grey - the same as X386mono, with the
  25. exception of the coloured borders of "login", "xterm", and "xclock".
