  15. NOTE:     If you haven't yet registered to attend the Las Vegas Symposium, 
  16.          it's not too late to take advantage of the pre-registration rate!  
  17.          You can register with a credit card through Friday, November 13, 
  18.          1992.  FAX your registration to (508) 841-3373/(508) 841-3357, or 
  19.          phone it in to (508) 841-3341.  Registrations sent by mail must 
  20.          be postmarked by this Wednesday, November 11, 1992.

  22. The DECUS Fall 1992 Symposium is being held December 7 - 11 at the Las 
  23. Vegas Hilton and Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV.  We are still in need 
  24. of chairs for many of the sessions.  If you have an interest in a 
  25. particular area, or if you'd like to learn something about a topic that's 
  26. new to you, please consider volunteering to chair a session.  In return, 
  27. we'll give you the best seat in the house! ;-)  
  28.  
  29. Volunteers are urged to attend a special session that provides training 
  30. for our session chairs Sunday night, December 6, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm 
  31. in Ballrooms A-B-C of the Las Vegas Hilton.  For those who are unable to 
  32. be there Sunday, the presentation will be available on videotape in the 
  33. Speaker Ready Room from Monday afternoon through the remainder of the 
  34. week.  The session will be repeated Monday afternoon from 4 pm to 5 pm in 
  35. Room N227/228 of the Convention Center.

  37. If you want to chair a particular presentation, identify the Special 
  38. Interest Group (SIG) sponsoring the session by the first two characters of 
  39. the session identifier.  (SIG codes are given below, with the formal SIG 
  40. name.)  Contact coordinators directly to sign up as a chair for one or 
  41. more presentations.  You may also volunteer to chair sessions for a SIG 
  42. "as needed."  The coordinators will answer any of your questions; or you 
  43. may direct questions to:
