- I tried out the Video Blaster card at a local computer store. The ms-dos
- machines was running windows and the input for the video blaster was
- comming form a cd player. The canned demo was quite impressive; though
- the salesman did tell me I could not get the resolution shown in the
- demo(?) The resolution supported by the card was 480x240(?),
-
- While the demo was running I captured an image and saved it to file. I
- tried two formats: bitmapped and gif. When I displayed the captured
- image, it was not very clear and there were black lines about 2mm wide
- running vertically through the entire image. In, short I was not
- impressed enought by this board to purchase it. If any one out there
- has had a different experience, please post it.
-
- Anyway I'm also looking for a video board, does anyone know whats
- available for the IBM pc/clones?
