- Smail3 is a pretty good Internet/UUCP gateway. It is fully
- RFC822/RFC976 conformant "out of the box", and works quite well, with a
- mimimum of configuration hassel, as an Internet to UUCP zone forwarder.
- It also comes with a pretty complete set of tools to build path files
- from the USENET map postings.
-
- Older versions of smail3 did have some major problems operating on the
- Internet, but those problems have been fixed for quite some time, now.
