- If the person works directly for IBM, then you should ascertain:

- 1) Do they have external mail access? Not all IBMers do,
- although it's a relatively simple process (get a form from
- the TOOLS disk, get their manager to send it to the outside
- gateway admin). If they do have outside access, try
- <user>@<hostname>.vnet.ibm.com.

- 2) If the customer is attached to IIN (IBM's global X.25/SNA
- based network that they sell access to customers), try
- userid@host.iinus1.ibm.com.
