- I may have just reproduced this problem. I was reading some mail and
- accidentally hit 'e' and went into edit on the incoming mail. I did
- a ':q!' to get out of that and got a message about a problem resetting
- permissions. When I checked the group id for my mail spool had changed to
- 'system'. This breaks the mail daemon when it trys to write new mail.
