- Someone asked me about algorithms / available software to count
- the number of yeast cells in a sample. He has a setup that allows
- him to put a sample under a microscope and digitize the picture.
- He is looking for either commercial software or published algorithms
- that allow give him the number of cells in the picture.
-
- I assume that this is an fairly old computer vision problem and has
- probably applied to the counting of blood cells before, but since
- this isn't my normal line of work, I don't know were to look.
-
- Any pointers in the right direction are highly appreciated.
-
- Thanks!
