- Thanks, set-global-mode-wra in the .emacsrc file works fine, except
- you have to put one in the home directory of each user.

- I did not try David's macro yet. Someone else wrote that you can use
- the $modeflag = False in 3.11 to turn off the mode line. (though I admit
- I can't figure out how to make that work - oops, ever mind, I need to
- update to 3.11. Anyone now where a .tar version rather than a .arc version
- is available?
