  15. A friend of mine recently bought a bunch of Excelan Mystery
  16. Boxes.  I was wondering if anyone on the net knows what they
  17. are (more importantly, if they *are* terminal servers), or if
  18. someone actually has a manual for one that they'd be willing
  19. to copy.

  21. I only got a quick looks inside one, so I'm afraid the details
  22. aren't very detailed.

  24. The Details:  The boxes have "Excelan Export 2000" on them.
  25. They have 8 (possibly more...my memory fails me here) DB25 
  26. ports, which I'm assuming are serial ports, but I don't 
  27. remember whether there were actualy UARTs there for them or
  28. not.  They have one AUI port each.  They have a button
  29. labeled "reset" on the front, along with two LEDs.

  31. Inside, there's a i286 and what I'd guess to be about a
  32. quarter meg of memory
  33.  
  34. Any help or info would be appreciated.
