  19. You could still hook them up to a PBX (w/o outside lines), thus I doubt you
  20. would run into trouble with customs for THAT reason.
  21. Still they would like to charge you VAT and other tarifs...
  22. I know of someone, who simply carried the thing thru customs in his suitcase
  23. :-) and had no trouble at all. Oh yeah, in fact I have a ZyXEL, too.

  26. I dunno. They are not legal in Germany either, but noone seams to care,
  27. thesedays. In Germay TELECOM-approved modems loose some features and have
  28. certain (re-)dialing restrictions, plus they cost 3-4times (!) more.

  32. There are hundreads of them, but the less expensive dealers (ZyXEL 1496E for 
  33. DM 600 - DM 700, incl. tax) are scarce.
