  11. My boss is looking for a modem to connect to a mainframe using SDLC or HDLC
  12. protocol. I understand the connection would be made using a 2-wire or 4-wire
  13. dial-up line in synchronous mode.
  14. His software obviously uses AT commands, does the modem need to support
  15. V25bis synchronous commands to speak to the other modem?
  16. Would standard V22.bis modems (Supra 2400?) offer the features he needs?
  17. My primary use for a modem is to access our news-feeder, so I'm a complete
  18. novice in this matter. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
