  24. That will select hardware handshaking (which is probably the problem
  25. you're having) and disable DTR detection.

  27. Another possibility is that your file has three plus signs followed by
  28. "AT" and a carriage return, which can make the modem escape to command
  29. mode rather than transfer the data.  If you think that's happening, try
  30. this setting:

  34. That will enable DTR disconnections, but only after DTR turns off for
  35. 2.5 seconds (often long enough to let flow control work without dropping
  36. the connection prematurely), and will disable the escape sequence.  This
  37. can work if your cable ties the modem's DTR and RTS pins together (with
  38. the Mac's handshake output signal).  If not, you'll have to call Telebit
