- That will select hardware handshaking (which is probably the problem
- you're having) and disable DTR detection.

- Another possibility is that your file has three plus signs followed by
- "AT" and a carriage return, which can make the modem escape to command
- mode rather than transfer the data. If you think that's happening, try
- this setting:

- That will enable DTR disconnections, but only after DTR turns off for
- 2.5 seconds (often long enough to let flow control work without dropping
- the connection prematurely), and will disable the escape sequence. This
- can work if your cable ties the modem's DTR and RTS pins together (with
- the Mac's handshake output signal). If not, you'll have to call Telebit
