  12. I suscribe to a 'hold line' feature from Bell Canada, that is, when I'm on 
  13. the phone and someone calls me, I hear a beep for about half a second.  
  14. I use the same line for data connection to a remote workstation.

  16. I was using this original Hayes 1200 modem and had the settings so that it
  17. automatically disconnected when someone was calling me.  That was the way 
  18. I want it.

  20. Now I bought a Supra V32bis modem and I can't get a fast disconnect.  
  21. Sometimes it will disconnect after 6 rings (from the calling party's side),
  22. sometimes after 10 rings, sometime never.  (I understand them to hang up after
  23. 10 rings...).

  25. Has anyone tried to do what I want to do on Supra V32bis?  Did it work?
