- I suscribe to a 'hold line' feature from Bell Canada, that is, when I'm on
- the phone and someone calls me, I hear a beep for about half a second.
- I use the same line for data connection to a remote workstation.
-
- I was using this original Hayes 1200 modem and had the settings so that it
- automatically disconnected when someone was calling me. That was the way
- I want it.
-
- Now I bought a Supra V32bis modem and I can't get a fast disconnect.
- Sometimes it will disconnect after 6 rings (from the calling party's side),
- sometimes after 10 rings, sometime never. (I understand them to hang up after
- 10 rings...).
-
- Has anyone tried to do what I want to do on Supra V32bis? Did it work?
- With what settings?
-
- Please reply to

- thanks.
